Dear friends on the path to recovery,


Today, I'd like to share a short message of hope and encouragement as you continue your journey towards healing and restoration. Recovery is not always a straight path. There are twists and turns, hills and valleys. But remember, just as the Psalmist wrote, "The Lord is my light and my salvation—whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life—of whom shall I be afraid?" (Psalm 27:1). In moments of weakness, when triggers and temptations feel overwhelming, turn to this light. God's love is a beacon guiding you through the storm. Here are some practical steps to help stabilize your recovery:

  1. Prayer and meditation: Start each day by connecting with God. Ask for strength and guidance.


  2. Community support: Surround yourself with positive influences. Attend support groups and church gatherings.



  3. Identify triggers: Be aware of situations, emotions, or places that may tempt you. Plan strategies to avoid or cope with these triggers.



  4. Healthy habits: Nourish your body and mind with good food, exercise, and restful sleep.



  5. Service to others: Find ways to give back. Helping others can provide purpose and strengthen your own resolve.



    Remember, "I can do all this through him who gives me strength." (Philippians 4:13) Your recovery journey is a testament to God's transformative power and your own resilience.Stay strong, stay faithful, and know that you are loved beyond measure. May God bless and keep you on this path of recovery.
