Our organization is committed to protecting the personal data of our donors, volunteers, and other stakeholders. We have implemented the following measures to ensure that we are compliant with the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA):
Collection of Personal Data:
We only collect personal data that is necessary for us to carry out our charitable activities. This may include information such as name, contact details, and donation history. We will only collect personal data with the individual’s consent, and we will make it clear why we are collecting the data and how it will be used.
Use of Personal Data:
We will only use personal data for the purposes for which it was collected. This may include using personal data to process donations, provide updates on our charitable activities, or to contact individuals about volunteering opportunities. We will not use personal data for any other purpose without the individual’s consent.
Disclosure of Personal Data:
We will not disclose personal data to any third party without the individual’s consent, unless required to do so by law.
Security of Personal Data:
We have implemented appropriate measures to protect the security of personal data, including encryption of electronic data and secure storage of physical records. The retention of data will be for a duration of two years and thereafter, the agency will safely and securely dispose of outdated/irrelevant data.
Access and Correction of Personal Data:
Individuals have the right to request access to their personal data, as well as to request correction of any inaccurate personal data or its removal. We will respond to such requests within five working days.
